Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid!

Welcome to the 31 Days of Halloween on the Third Coast Creative Coterie Blog. I know you just came from my page and saw the same post. Well here it is in a little different color.
Each day a different member of the Design Team will post a spooky creation.
We hope you are afraid, very afraid!

http://cromscubbyhole.blogspot.co.uk/ is your next stop on the HOP!

The top photo shows the original work painted with Pan Pastels, the bottom image which you have seen or will see on my blog was photographed with my iPhone and altered through various photo apps.

Both are gorgeous, but I must say I am drawn to the digitally manipulated piece. I couldn't begin to formulate words for my reasoning, it is just something in the altered piece that stirs my insides. Fabulous work!

I love seeing these two pieces together. Technology is definitely having a huge effect on the world of art. Phone apps?? Who would have guessed?

Wow - I love that you showed two versions. Both equally creepy and eerie in their different ways. Neat to see what you can do with a phone app. I have phone apps but never thought of trying that with artwork before - great idea! I love the artwork, too - puts me in mind of those old gothic horror novels.

I love them both but the bottom one is more eerie I'd say :)
