Gray you say?

Third Coast stamps used: Robed Woman CH-322-H,Silhouette branch CM-263-O

”Oh, I hate the fall, it’s all so gray all of a sudden!”

Excuse me? Have you looked around you? If something is gray, it is the clothes of the people, it is the concrete under our feet, it is the city walls around us. But the fall, in nature’s own version, is anything but gray. It is yellow. Red. Brown. Green. Yes, green! It is that strange pale white and yellow sky just before the rain pours down from the black clouds. And it is the rosy cheeks, when you’ve returned home from a long walk outside. It is all that. A many-splendered thing.
